And those are just smartphone statistics! Add in the tablet numbers and more often than not, people are using mobile devices for work and entertainment.
Is your home or small business website ready for mobile users? If you want to sell from your site, it better be! Home and small business need to be flexible, nimble, and ahead of the technology curve. If you are not, competition will be and you will lose sales.

In her post, Toni Bowers of Tech Republic discusses the pros and cons of “going mobile”. Yes, there is a learning curve, and a more complicated design than traditional websites. The pros: faster load time, consistent branding, and improved user experience may outweigh the drawbacks for your business.
Mobile website design is not something you must do yourself. There are many contractors and companies eager for your business. It doesn’t hurt to get free price quotes from these providers. You might learn something and discover the benefits outweigh any costs.
At least take a look. Your competition is already looking and working on mobile development.
